Paravirtualization is the process through which a virtualization environment is created to be used with a specific hardware. It is used to enhance the use of limited physical resources. It enables multiple OS to run on the same hardware at the same time, ensuring more efficient use of system resources.

Paravirtualization creates a virtualization infrastructure that is in par with the underlying hardware. It is done to optimize the utilization of limited resources like processors and memory and at the same time hardware use.
